JENIN, April 23, 2012 (WAFA) – Confrontations erupted Monday between Palestinians and Israeli forces in the town of Silat al Harithiya, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, according to security sources.
They told WAFA that forces stormed the town provoking residents who responded by throwing rocks at them, leading to confrontations. No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, forces stormed the western Jenin village of Ta’nak and set up a temporary military checkpoint between the villages of Rummana and Zububa, stopping and searching Palestinian vehicles. No arrests were reported.
