Settlers Cut 150 Olive Trees near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, April 16, 2012 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers Monday cut down around 150 olive trees in the village of Beitillu, west of Ramallah, according to local sources.

Settlers from Nhaliel settlement, established on village land, cut olive trees in land that belongs to a local farmer.

Israeli soldiers meanwhile demolished three agricultural facilities and three wells in the town of Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit.

Local sources said that a large number of soldiers accompanied by a bulldozer demolished the facilities and wells as they prevented the farmers from reaching the land.
