COLOMBO, April 16, 2012 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Monday met with the Sri Lankan President, Mahinda Rajapaksa, in the presidential palace in Colombo and discussed bilateral relations.
Abbas started an official three-day visit to Sri Lanka, which come as a part of his tour of Asian countries started with a visit to Japan.
Officials from the two countries signed two agreements, one political and the second economic.
Abbas is scheduled to visit the Maldives on the conclusion of his visit to Sri Lanka.
