RAMALLAH, June 25, 2011 (WAFA) - Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA) Saturday published the first issue of “MADA Media” magazine; first specialized magazine in media affairs in the Palestinian Territory.

The issue discussed various media-related subjects, including thePress Syndicate performance, the effects of the internal reconciliation on Palestinian media, and other local, Arab and

international media affairs.

The magazine also addressed the results of the Israeli compensation law, which prevents the compensation of press members who were victimized by the Israeli army, in giving a free hand to Israeli soldiers to violate media rights.

The magazine will be published and distributed for free regularly every two months to address media issues in order to develop media performance and help the Palestinian journalism achieve its goals. An electronic copy of the magazine will be available on MADA website, said Mousa Remawi, the magazine chief-editor.
