AMMAN, August 13, 2025 (WAFA) - The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Wednesday condemned the remarks of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he said he feels a connection to the so-called vision of “Greater Israel”.
The Ministry, in a statement, rejected such remarks and condemned them as a dangerous, provocative escalation, a threat to the sovereignty of states, and a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
The Ministry's official spokesman, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, emphasized the Kingdom's firm rejection of these inflammatory statements, stressing that the absurd illusions presented in the statements of Israeli officials will not undermine Jordan and the Arab countries or erode the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
He added that these remarks and actions reflect the dire situation of the occupation government, occurring alongside its international isolation in light of its ongoing aggression on the occupied Gaza Strip and West Bank.
Qudah stressed that these claims and illusions, promoted and endorsed by the extremists within the occupation government, fuel the ongoing spiral of violence and conflict. He emphasized the need for a clear international stance to condemn them, warn of their serious consequences for regional security and stability, and hold those responsible accountable.
He emphasized the urgent need for the international community to take immediate action to halt all Israeli provocative actions and statements that threaten regional stability, as well as international security and peace.
