RAMALLAH, January 24, 2011 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians gathered at Ramallah city center on Monday to protest what they said was al Jazeera channel bias against the Palestinian Authority and its leadership.

The protestors burnt banners for Al Jazeera and hung posters comparing the channel to Israel. Some protesters tried to reach Al Jazeera office in the center of Ramallah but were stopped by the police.

The protestors accused the Qatari channel of supporting Arab division, in addition to what they said was the suspicious timing for the broadcast of documents about Palestinian negotiations with Israel.
