GAZA, May 11, 2008, (WAFA)-Prisoners' Assembly (Husam) said on Sunday that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested 470 citizens in the Gaza Strip governorates during this month.

In a statement, it added that such campaign of arrest among citizens was not observed since 1987.

It revealed that the condition of prisoners in Negev Israeli jail is very harsh and they live in ill condition and they are subjected to ill treatment and suffered from medical negligence as well as bad food.

In the meantime, prisoners in Ber Sheva Israeli jail warned of the deteriorated condition, calling on international human rights organizations to intervene and improve living condition.
