Merkel: Improving Living Conditions of Palestinians Ensures Peace and Stability in Region
BERLIN, February 19, 2008 (WAFA)-Germany stressed the necessity to improve the living conditions of the Palestinian people on economical and scientific levels.
This came during Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel's meeting with representatives of media in Berlin.
Merkel called for establishing a Palestinian state alongside Israel. adding that such is considered an essential factor to ensure peace and stability in the region.
She affirmed her support to the peace process in the Middle East to solve the conflict between Palestinian and Israelis.
