RAMALLAH, April 16, 2026 (WAFA) – A 17-year-old Palestinian was killed by Israeli forces during a raid in the town of Beit Duqqu, northwest of Jerusalem, local officials said.

The Jerusalem Governorate stated that Rayyan was killed and another Palestinian was wounded during  confrontations that erupted in the town as Israeli forces raided and conducted a large-scale search operation targeting several homes.

It identified the victim as Mohammad Murad Rayan, noting that Israeli forces withheld his body following the incident.

Earlier, the Palestine Red Crescent Society said it had received reports of a critically injured person during the raid but was prevented from reaching him. Israeli forces detained  a number of young men and residents, subjecting them to field interrogations, while at least one injury was confirmed amid the confrontations.
