JERUSALEM, April 16, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the town of Beit Duqqu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society that its crews were notified of a critical injury caused by live ammunition but were prevented by Israeli forces from reaching the wounded individual.

Intense confrontations erupted earlier  in the village following a large-scale raid and search operation by Israeli forces targeting several homes.

The Jerusalem Governorate stated that Israeli forces detained  a number of young men and residents, subjecting them to field interrogations, while at least one injury was confirmed amid the confrontations.
