BEIRUT, April 16, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces continued their military offensive across multiple areas across Lebanon on Thursday against, resulting in the killing of several civilians, destruction of infrastructure, and extensive damage to civilian property.
WAFA correspondent reported that, according to Lebanese press reports, Israeli warplanes targeted a civilian vehicle on the Dahr al-Baydar road in Mount Lebanon.
The occupation forces also launched a series of airstrikes targeting the Qasmiyeh Bridge, which connects the cities of Sidon and Tyre, completely destroying it.
Israeli warplanes carried out fire attacks targeting the city of Nabatieh and the town of Kfar Rumman, while the Israeli occupation forces also demolished a high school building in the town of Marwahin.
Additional strikes and artillery shelling targeted the towns of Rumin, Zawtar al-Gharbiyah, Haboush, Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, Arab Salim, Kfar Houna, Ain Baswar, Touline, Ain Baal, Kfar, Haris, Qatrani, Tibnin, and Sahmar in southern Lebanon.
Earlier,the occupation army had issued an urgent warning to residents south of the Zahrani River to move north.
