SANA'A, January 22, 2008 (WAFA) - The Yemeni government confirmed on Tuesday denunciation of the Israeli punishment policy it applied on the Palestinian innocent and unarmed people.

In the meeting of the cabinet held on Tuesday, the Yemeni government called for issuing immediate decision by Security Council for lifting barbaric blockade imposed by Israel on Gaza.

The cabinet confirmed President Ali Abdullah Saleh's call for holding urgent Arab summit for discussing tragic situations suffered by Palestinian people and necessity of having unified Arab attitude toward these dangerous acts that are blowing up the area and international security and stability.
