RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 15, 2020 (WAFA) – Government spokesman Ibrahim Milhem said today that the current health conditions of all the 38 COVID-19 patients in Palestine are stable thanks to the measures taken by the government and the psychological, health and nutritious care provided for them.
He told official Palestine TV that the government has taken precautionary measures even before major countries did so, noting Palestine will come out of this pandemic stronger thanks to these measures.
Milhem said that the three cases which were announced yesterday belong to people who were in direct contact with other patients and that they quarantined themselves at homes in precaution.
He stressed that the government is fighting rumors by providing true information to the Palestinian people.
Milhem noted that the government has always believed in the principle of freedoms, transparency and objectivity, so when COVID-19 broke out in Palestine, the government was honest enough to reveal the truth to the people.
