RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 15, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is partially cloudy and moderate with a slight rise in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Northwesterly to southwesterly, active to gusty wind is expected. Sea waves are medium to low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 16°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A further rise in temperature is expected on Monday as warm conditions prevail.

However, a low pressure is expected to affect the region on Tuesday bringing cold to very cold conditions, rain and strong winds.

The low pressure is expected to continue on Wednesday, thus weather is expected to remain cloudy and very cold with a significant drop on temperature. Scattered rain showers are expected on some areas.

PMD warns people against low horizontal visibility and slippery roads.
