RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 12, 2020 (WAFA) - A factory in the occupied southern West Bank city of Hebron is set to produce between 10 to 15 thousand facial masks on daily basis to provide the local market with the highly-demanded mask considered vital in fighting the spread of coronavirus, today said the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy.
It said in a statement that the factory is going to manufacture the masks under the supervision of the Palestinian Standards and Measurements Institute to make sure that the masks are being produced in accordance with Palestinian and European standards.
It said that a number of Palestinian factories have also increased their production lines in manufacturing sterilizers to meet the market demand from this vital anti-corona product, in addition to a factory working on manufacturing preventive medical costumes.
