RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 12, 2020 (WAFA) – The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during February slightly decreased by 0.07% compared with January, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
The decrease was by 0.37% in the Gaza Strip and by 0.13% in Jerusalem, while it slightly increased by 0.04% in the West Bank.
The Palestinian CPI during February increased by 1.24% compared with February 2019. It increased by 3.59% in Jerusalem, by 1.13% in the West Bank, and by 0.23% in Gaza Strip.
The changes in Palestinian CPI for February 2020 were traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
