ANKARA, Tuesday, November 19, 2019 (WAFA) – Reacting to the announcement yesterday by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in which he said the US no longer considers the illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories as violating international law, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in a tweet today that fait accompli style declarations shall have no validity.

“No country is above international law,” he wrote. “Fait accompli style declarations shall have no validity with respect to international law.”
