RAMALLAH, Monday, November 18, 2019 (WAFA) – Wife and brother of a Palestinian prisoner in Israel were detained today during a visit to the prison, according to the Prisoners Commission.
It said Israel detained the wife of Ramadan Eid Mashahreh and his brother when they visited him at Hadarim prison in the center of Israel without any clear reason.
Mashahreh, 43, is from Jabal al-Mukabber neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem. He was detained on July 6, 2002. His brother, Fahmi, was also arrested two months later and both were sentenced to 20 life terms. Israel also demolished their family home.
