Four Palestinian prisoners from Jenin enter 17 and 19 years in Israeli jails.

 

JENIN, Thursday, October 31, 2019 (WAFA) - Four Palestinian prisoners from the northern  West Bank governate of Jenin   have completed today  17 and 19 years behind Israeli prison bars, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Director of PPS, Montaser Samour, told WAFA prisoners Qassem Abu Oun and Firas Hassan Khalil, both from the town of  Jaba’a , entered today 17 years in Israeli jails. They were both sentenced to  life in prison for resisting the Israeli occupation.

Jumaa Mughir, from the town of Arraba, entered today 19 years in Israeli detention. He was arrested in October  2001 and sentenced to 24 years in jail.

Meanwhile, prisoner Tawfiq Raba’ya, from Methlon town and who was arrested in July  2017 and sentenced to 25 years in Israeli jails, entered today 17 years in Israeli jails. 

All four prisoners have been denied family visits several times and placed numerously in isolation as a means of punishment against them.
