JORDAN VALLEY, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 (WAFA) – Palestinians, including officials, members of the Executive Committee of the Liberation Organization, Fatah Central Committee, political factions and activists demonstrated today in the northern Jordan Valley against Israeli annexation plans, according to the participants.
Israeli forces, however, attacked the participants with beatings, sound bombs and teargas causing many injuries, mostly light. The Red Crescent said its teams treated 11 people from teargas inhalation.
The army erected several military checkpoints in various areas leading to the protest site and prevented people seeking to reach it, including journalists, from getting there.
