RAMALLAH, Friday, November 16, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday quelled dozens of protesters who were demonstrating near the village of Ras Karkar, to the west of Ramallah in the West Bank, against Israel’s plan to confiscate hundreds of dunums of land in the area, local sources said.

Soldiers fired rubber-coated steel rounds and teargas canisters towards the protesters to disperse them, injuring one of them by a rubber-coated bullet in his face and causing many cases of suffocation from gas inhalation.

Last week, a paramedic was injured by Israeli forces and many others suffocated from teargas when the Israeli army quelled the weekly protest in the village against the Israeli confiscation plans.
