Two Palestinians sustain injuries from Israeli army fire near Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, September 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians on Friday sustained injuries from Israeli army fire in the Shu’fat refugee camp, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem, according to local sources.

They said that the occupation forces opened fire on a young man in the camp, seriously injuring him in the neck.

He added that the occupation forces targeted another young man in the camp and prevented medical crews from approaching him. There was no immediate information about his condition.

This came as the occupying forces stormed the family house of Mohammad Mahmoud Shawamra in the camp, purportedly for carrying out a stabbing attack in a West Jerusalem hotel.

The gun-toting soldiers besieging the house deliberately opened fire on Palestinian civilians.
