DAMASCUS, Tuesday, 12 November 2019 (WAFA) – Two people were killed today and 10 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike at a building in the area of al-Mezza in the Syrian capital of Damascus, according to Syrian security sources.
They said that Israeli warplanes bombed the house of Islamic Jihad leader Akram al-Ajouri, killing his son, Moath and another person, while injuring 10 others.
According to the Syrian news agency, Sana, Israeli warplanes fired three missiles at the targeted building, which caused severe damage to the building as well as nearby buildings and vehicles.
The strike coincided with another Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip which killed Islamic Jihad leader Bahaa Abu al-Ata and his wife.
