RAMALLAH, July 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli bulldozers demolished a Palestinian home on Wednesday in the village of Um Safa, northwest of Ramallah, as part of ongoing efforts to displace residents and expand colonial outposts, according to local sources.
The house belonged to Khaled Abu Allan, who has been barred by Israeli authorities from accessing his own property, located near an illegal outpost established in mid-2023.
Two months ago, Israeli forces uprooted dozens of fruit trees and filled in a water well belonging to Abu Allan.
Um Safa, like many villages in the northwest Ramallah area, faces repeated attacks by both Israeli colonists and occupation forces, targeting both the land and its Palestinian residents.
In a separate incident, Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home in the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers, accompanied by heavily armed forces, stormed the Thawri neighborhood in Silwan and tore down the home of Palestinian resident Tareq Shweiki, leaving his family homeless.
