JERUSALEM, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 (WAFA) – Israeli police today shut down gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem’s Old City after detaining two youths, said witnesses.
Police assaulted the two youths and took them away after which they forced Muslim worshippers to leave the third holiest site in Islam.
No immediate reason was given for the assault and detention of the youths.
