In a raid and search campaign in the West Bank, Israeli soldiers detain five Palestinians

HEBRON/BETHLEHEM, Monday, April 20, 2020 (WAFA) – Israeli forces raided early this morning two towns in the south West Bank and detained at least five Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).

Soldiers raided and searched homes in the town of Deir Samet, west of Hebron, and detained four people from the extended al-Hroub clan, all in their 20s.

In the town of Taqoa, southeast of Bethlehem, soldiers raided and searched the family home of Mousa al-Amour, 22, and detained him, said PPS.

Israel has come under increasing criticism for continuing with the raid, search and arrest campaign in the occupied Palestinian territories in the time of the coronavirus pandemic.
