RAMALLAH, March 7, 2017 (WAFA) – Husam Zomlot, advisor to President Mahmoud Abbas for strategic affairs, was sworn-in on Tuesday as head of the General Delegation of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to the United States.

Zomlot, a Ph.D. graduate in international political economy from SOAS University of London, will replace Maen Areikat, who served as chief delegate to Washington since 2009.
