RAMALLAH, January 29, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to deliver a speech before the 28th African Union (AU) Summit scheduled for Monday in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.

Majdi al-Khalidi, Abbas‘ advisor for diplomatic affairs and international relations, told the Voice of Palestine radio that Abbas is set to address the situation in Palestine during his speech, with an aim to mobilize the support of African countries to the Palestinian people at all international forums.

Abbas is also set to meet with African leaders for talks on boosting mutual relations.
