RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is relatively hot to hot in daytime with steady temperature which remains around 5°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Pleasant conditions are expected for nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts. Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate with occasional gusts in the evening and night hours. Sea waves are low to medium.
Thursday’s weather in daytime is relatively hot in most districts and pleasant in mountainous districts, while relatively cold conditions are expected in mountainous districts and mild conditions in other districts in nighttime. Temperature is set to drop and approach 3°C above the seasonal average.
PMD expects Friday’s temperature to further drop and approach the seasonal average with partially cloudy and pleasant conditions in most districts and very hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Pleasant conditions are expected in nighttime.
Saturday’s temperature is set to further drop and become lower than the seasonal average with partially cloudy and mild conditions in most districts and hot to very hot conditions in daytime and mild to slightly cold conditions in nighttime.
PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry leaves and grass.
