RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 04, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is mainly clear and relatively hot to hot in daytime with steady temperature which remains 5°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Pleasant conditions are expected for mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions to other districts in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate with occasional gusts in the evening and night. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 24°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 31°C and a low of 23°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 42°C and a low of 29°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Wednesday’s temperature is set to remain steady with relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and pleasant conditions in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts.

Thursday’s weather in daytime is relatively hot, while it is expected to be relatively cold in mountainous districts and mild in other districts in nighttime and the early morning hours. Temperature is set to drop and approach 2°C above the seasonal average.

PMD expects Friday’s temperature to further drop and approach the seasonal average with partially cloudy and pleasant conditions in most districts in daytime and very hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Pleasant conditions are expected in nighttime.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry leaves and grass.
