RAMALLAH, Monday, May 03, 2019 (WAFA) – The Palestinian government has vehemently condemned the recent Israeli escalation in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on worshippers by Israeli soldiers and settlers.

In a statement, the government said the Israeli escalation coincided with the financial and political war waged by Israel against the Palestinian people and leadership, aimed at enforcing projects outside the framework of the international legitimacy.

The government praised the worshippers who were present at the holy compound yesterday and who stood defiant to the extremist Israeli police and the settlers who were provocatively touring through the compound.
