RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 14, 2019 (WAFA) – The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during March 2019 increased by 0.85% compared with February 2019, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
PCBS said CPI increased by 0.89% in the Gaza Strip, by 0.88% in the West Bank, and by 0.57% in Jerusalem.
The changes in Palestinian CPI for March 2019 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
Compared with March 2018, The Palestinian CPI during March 2019 increased by 1.42%. It increased by 2.20% in the West Bank, by 0.79% in Jerusalem, and by 0.35% in the Gaza Strip.
