JERUSALEM, Sunday, April 14, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces last night arrested five Palestinians, including Adnan Gheith, the Palestinian Authority’s Governor of Jerusalem, during raids targeting several areas in occupied Jerusalem, said WAFA correspondent.

Police raided the house of Gheith in Silwan neighborhood and arrested him. This is the fourth such arrest of Gheith in less than five months. He was arrested by Israeli forces for a few days several times on October and November 2018 and in February.

Gheith has also received an order from Israeli authorities banning him from entering the occupied West Bank for six months.

Meanwhile, Israeli police raided the nearby neighborhood of al-Issawiya and detained four Palestinian civilians.
