RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 13, 2019 (WAFA) – A significant rise in temperature to approach 6°C above the seasonal average with partly cloudy skies is expected today, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD expects Sunday’s weather to be partly cloudy and pleasant in the morning hours. Temperature is expected to gradually plummet in the afternoon and evening hours, paving the way to relatively cold and breezy conditions.

Temperature on Monday is expected to drop further to become around the annual average with a chance of showers in the evening and night hours.

Another drop in temperature is expected for Tuesday to become 3°C below the annual average with rain expected in most areas.
