RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 11, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy to clear and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime with a rise of temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southerly to southeasterly and light to moderate in daytime before becoming northeasterly to easterly in nighttime. Sea waves are low medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 13°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Wednesday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 4°C above the seasonal average with partially cloudy to clear and mild conditions, except in mountainous districts where weather is relatively cold, in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime.
PMD also predicted Wednesday’s temperature to significantly rise and approach 5°C above the seasonal average with partially cloudy to clear and mild conditions, except in mountainous districts where weather is relatively cold, in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime.
However, a low pressure is set to affect the region on Thursday accompanied with a significant drop of temperature. Partially cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions are expected in daytime and very cold conditions in nighttime. Scattered rain showers are expected on some districts, especially the northern.
