JERUSALEM, Monday, February 11, 2019 (WAFA) – The Israeli authorities Monday gave the Abu Assab family in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem 24 hours to evict its home and turn it over to a Jewish settler group, according to the family.
They urged residents and international organizations to help them prevent their eviction from the home they had lived in all their life.
A sit-in is planned at the targeted house on Tuesday evening to protest the Israeli decision, said the family.
The settlers claimed ownership of the house, located near Al-Aqsa Mosque, in spite of the Abu Assab family contending that the settlers’ claim was not legal.
