RAMALLAH, Monday, February 04, 2019 (WAFA) – Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen is scheduled to visit Palestine on Tuesday, his first, and meet with President Mahmoud Abbas, according to Majdi al-Khalidi, Abbas‘ diplomatic advisor.
He told Voice of Palestine radio on Monday that the talks between the two leaders will focus on strengthening bilateral relations as well as role Austria can play in the Middle East peace process in light of the hostile American and Israeli policies toward the Palestinians.
Khalidi said that the Austrian foreign minister is also going to visit Palestine in the near future.
