RAMALLAH, Sunday, December 30, 2018 (WAFA) – Very cold conditions with sporadic rain, together with occasional thunderstorms, are expected for Sunday as the region continues to be affected by a low pressure front, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly and moderate to active. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 10°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Chances of rain are expected for Monday on most areas with another rise in temperature, and a slight rise in temperature is expected.
Another rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday, yet temperature is likely to drop again on Wednesday.
PMD warns citizens against low visibility due to fog formation and low clouds, floods in low areas and slippery roads.
