RAMALLAH, Saturday, December 29, 2018 (WAFA) – A delegation representing Ramallah churches paid a visit on Saturday to Ahmad Assaf, General Supervisor of the Official Media, in Ramallah, to express gratitude for the official media coverage of Christmas celebrations.

“The least we can do is to congratulate you for the coverage of the Christmas prayers and celebrations,” said Father Elias Awwad on behalf of the delegation.

Assaf told the delegation that Christmas, even though is a religious holiday, it is also a national holiday.

He stressed that Palestine TV wants to be there for all Palestinians and to broadcast their religious events and celebrations, which is a national duty.

“We are proud to be on this land and in this national unity not found anywhere else in the world,” said Assaf. “We are one people with one fate and our past, present and future are one.”
