RAMALLAH, Saturday, December 29, 2018 (WAFA) – Very cold conditions in spite of a slight rise in temperature with occasional rain are expected for Saturday as the region continues to be affected by a low pressure front, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly, moderate to active and sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 9°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Partially cloudy to cloudy skies and cold to very cold conditions are expected on Sunday. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected with another slight rise in temperature.
Chances of rain are expected for Monday on most areas with another rise in temperature.
Another rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday.
PMD warns citizens against low visibility due to fog formation and low clouds, floods in low areas and slippery roads.
