RAMALLAH, Wednesday, December 05, 2018 (WAFA) – The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine decreased by 3.06% in October compared to September, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Wednesday.

IPI for October decreased due to the decrease in the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 12.27%, which had a share of 4.06% of the total industry, and the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 3.04%, which had a share of 83.19% of the total industry, while the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation increased by 12.47%, which had a share of 0.78% of the total industry, and the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply increased by 2.88%, which had a share of 11.98% of the total industry.
