NABLUS, Monday, November 26, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Monday seized a Palestinian-owned plot of land in Jalud village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, said an anti-settlement activist.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlements in the northern West Bank, said that settlers from Ahiya outpost seized the 10-dunum plot of land, close to homes built in the village’s land classified as Area C, and laid groundwork for settlement construction.
Planted with olive and fig trees since decades, the plot of land has been off-s for its Palestinian owners since it was declared a closed military zone in 2001.
