Lawmaker among 10 Palestinians Israel detained in West Bank raids

 

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian lawmaker from occupied Jerusalem was among 10 Palestinians Israeli forces have detained in overnight raids at their homes in the West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Wednesday.

Ahmad Attoun, member of the Palestinian Legislative Council from Jerusalem, was detained from his home in the Ramallah area. Attoun, affiliated with Hamas list, was previously arrested and served time in prison, then deported from Jerusalem to the West Bank after his release.

In addition to Attoun, the Israeli army detained three more people from the Ramallah area, four from the Bethlehem district, including two 16-year-old minors from the Taqatqa family and two brothers, and two from the Hebron area, one of them 50 years of age, said the PPS.
