NAQAB DESERT, July 26, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli bulldozers demolished on Thursday al-Araqib Bedouin village in the Naqab desert in southern Israel for the 131st time since June 2010, said local sources.
Israeli bulldozers demolished all residential and agricultural makeshift structures in the village, displacing its residents.
The village was last demolished in June.
Al-Araqib is one of 35 Bedouin villages considered “unrecognized” by the Israeli government.
According to the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), more than half of the approximately 160,000 Naqab Bedouins reside in unrecognized villages.
