RAMALLAH, July 23, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is relatively hot with a rise in temperature to become three degrees Celsius above its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, active at times. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem is expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius during the day on Monday and drops to 22 degrees at night. In Ramallah, temperature is expected to reach a high of 29 degrees and a low of 21 degrees. In the northern West Bank, temperature is expected to reach a high of 35 degrees and a low of 24 degrees. In Jericho and the Dead Sea, temperature is expected to be very hot and reaches a high of 41 degrees and a low of 27 degrees. In Gaza and the coastal areas, temperature is expected to reach a high of 31 degrees Celsius and a low of 25 degrees.
PMD also expects weather on Tuesday to be hot with another rise in temperature approaching five degrees Celsius higher than its annual average.
Hot, dry conditions continue on Wednesday. Temperature is expected to rise again becoming seven degrees Celsius above the annual average.
Temperature on Thursday is expected to drop while remaining five degrees Celsius above the annual average.
