GAZA, May 13, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities released nine detainees from the Gaza Strip, all of whom were detained during the ongoing aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023.
The occupation forces have detained more than 10,700 Palestinians from the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023, along with thousands of citizens from Gaza and hundreds of Palestinians from 1948.
At the same time, torture against detainees has escalated in an unprecedented manner, according to dozens of testimonies monitored by relevant institutions. These crimes include unprecedented crimes, most notably torture, starvation, medical negligence, enforced disappearance, as well as tragic and harsh detention conditions, collective isolation, and abuse.
