NABLUS, July 14, 2018 (WAFA) – Palestinians buried on Saturday the corpse of Mohammad Marshoud, 30, after the Israeli army freed it three months after holding it in the morgue.
An Israeli settler shot and killed Marshoud on April 9 near Mishor Adumim settlement on the Jerusalem-Jericho road in the West Bank after he allegedly attempted to stab Israelis.
The army has been holding the corpse since then as a punishment to the family but decided on Friday to release it and return it to its family for proper burial in Balata refugee camp in Nablus, Marshoud’s hometown.
The army had also released on Friday corpses of two other Palestinians from the West Bank killed in similar circumstances to Marshoud. Both are expected to be buried on Saturday, each in his hometown.
