MADRID, July 6, 2018 (WAFA) – The Spanish government denounced the Israeli demolition of Palestinian buildings and structures in the makeshift Bedouin village of Abu Nawar, east of Jerusalem.
The Spanish government in a statement further urged the Israeli authorities to cancel its plans to demolish the Palestinian community of Khan al-Ahmar in Jerusalem; home to more than 180 people, 95 per cent of whom are Palestine refugees.
The statement maintained that these demolitions are contrary to international law, affect poor communities and are a major obstacle to the peace process.
Israeli forces demolished several Palestinian homes in the Palestinian Bedouin community of Abu Nuwar on Wednesday.
