RAMALLAH, July 6, 2018 (WAFA) - PLO Executive Committee Member Hanan Ashrawi Friday said that Israel‘s banning of human rights activist Benjamin Ladraa from entering Palestine constitutes a deliberate and crude exercise of power and a flagrant attempt to subvert any solidarity with Palestine

"Swedish represents the conscience of humanity." Said Ashrawi.

"For the past eleven months, Benjamin Ladraa has walked more than 4,000 kilometers to generate awareness about the plight of the Palestinian people under Israel‘s cruel military occupation.” Said the PLO official in a statement.

Early this morning Israeli authorities banned Swedish human rights activist Ladraa from entering Palestine. 

“On behalf of the Palestinian leadership and people of Palestine, we extend our deep gratitude to Ladraa who has demonstrated exceptional courage and integrity by advocating on behalf of the Palestinian people and educating the international community about Israel‘s persistent violations and acts of aggression against Palestinian lives, lands and resources; we will remain indebted to Mr. Ladraa.”
