Weather: Slight rise in temperature

 

RAMALLAH, June 4, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy, mild and moderate in most of Palestine with a slight rise in temperature while remaining a bit lower than its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A slight chance of scattered rain showers is expected on some areas.

Wind is northwesterly, light to moderate, active at times.

Temperature on Monday in most areas is expected to be in the mid to upper 20s in degrees Celsius during the day and drops at night to the mid to upper teens in the central West Bank and the low20s in the coastal areas. In the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach the low to mid 30s during the day and the mid-20s at night.

PMD also predicted weather on Tuesday to be partially cloudy to clear and moderate in the mountains, relatively hot in other areas. Temperature is expected to slightly rise again becoming around its annual average.

Wednesday’s weather is expected to be clear and relatively hot to hot. Temperature is expected to rise again approaching three degrees Celsius above the annual average.

Weather on Thursday is expected to be clear and hot to very hot with a rise in temperature becoming five degrees Celsius above the annual average.
